They are able to assist clients with bathing, dressing, and brushing teeth. Duties may also include changing linens and assisting clients with getting around. Clients may range from the elderly, disabled, long-term ill, to children with special needs.
CNAs are certified nursing assistants that have specific duties and must pass state licensing tests before interacting with health care patients. They assist clients with personal and basic health care needs as well as change linens and aid in mobility.
Registered nurses work to promote good health and prevent illness. They administer medications under the supervision of doctors and keep records of symptoms and progress. Their supervision of licensed practical nurses (LPNs), nursing aides, CNAs, and IHAs are also duties registered nurses may provide to insure the well-being of patients.
